I hate when those simple little things happen. I once had the wire for the brake switch fall off. Obviously I didn't notice this until I had to put the car through scrutineering - which was only about 15 mins before our qualifying session!
Lucky I had the connectors & tools with me. Raced back to my pit, fixed the problem, raced back to scrutineering, got passed then raced back to my pit, got the race suit and helmet on and followed the rest of the cars out on to the track! (Sigh of relief) Why is it so often that the simplest little things bring us un-done?
