I got done for parking the wrong way as well.
The fine was for wheels not parallel and close to kerb.

I argued with the tosser, but he said that the Passenger side wheels must be within an 
allowable distance from the kerb.
I reckon it was just an excuse to give me a fine. If only I was an Aboriginal, I could 
claim discrimination!
It says race, colour, creed, not vehicle Marque :(

I just paid the $66.

In my area (suburban) there is this full time parking dude who just goes around fining 
people. Gee he must be popular at local parties :)
