Hey steve. I have a z24 in a 1600 and I borrowed a z18 manifold off errol to see if it would fit. In my case it was a no go. While the ports were roughly the same width accross, the z24 port is more a square port and the z18 port is round. So you end up with the corners of the ports sticking outside the manifold. I thought about grinding it out to match but there wasnt enough metal in the z18 manifold to do this. My other problem was the manifold hit the bonnet because the z24 block is taller. So I just got the standard manifold modified instead. I am not too sure about the exhaust because mine has a custom manifold.
