Hey, I have this little problem in my R30, where several dash lights stay on, after starting the car. They are the fuel light, door open light, spotlight indicator, and the brake fail light.
Charge and oil lights go off when they are supposed to, and to the best of my knowledge they both function correctly. The lights usually go off when the engine is given a few revs, ie the problem mainly only exists at idle. Just below normal idle (ie when the prehistoric aircon is switched on - about 700rpm) the same lights stay on but are considerably dimmer, and become even dimmer when indicators etc are switched on. I am screwed for ideas here... the alternator is producing a steady 13.8V at idle, and I haven't modified any of the wiring in the car recently. The problem sounds kind of similar to the one that Mark Alford was having with his charge light going off above idle. But, it may be completely different. Any ideas?
