Yeah that is right. Look at the autospeed article by Julian Edgar. www.autospeed.com.au
He made an amplifier to trick the G-Force sensor in his R32-GTR. He could adjust the 4wd from full 50-50 4wd for driving in the wet to stock 100-0 2wd. He was quite critical of the handling and traction of the R32 in suburban driving. The modification sounded like it made a great difference. Look at the cool pics. There has got to be some progressively locking diff-lock type arrangement in the centre diff. The torque guage probably uses the fluid pressure in the locking solenoid to give you the reading Nick > > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: RE: What's a torque guage? > Date: 12/03/2002 15:40:02 > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > I'll tell you what it does, not what it probably does. > It is the gauge to show how much torque is being transmitted to the front > wheels by the ATTESA (4wd control) system. > As you probably know the GT-R is RWD until it detects slip in the rear wheels, > at which point it transfers torque to the front wheels (to counter the slip in > the rear wheels).
