Dave, According to my sources the 240Z steel wheels are 14x5.5JJ (Datsun 240/260/260Z BS = 3-5/8" or 92mm)
5.5" rims are 165mm bead to bead so the centre line is 82.5mm, that means they are 9.5mm negative offset. Pass on the rest of the Zed questions as I have NFI. regards Terry -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of David Andrews Sent: Tuesday, 26 March 2002 2:51 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: 240Z wheel offset G'day All, Am investigating buying some new rims for my 240Z. What are the original offsets that 240Z wheels have? If i were to (attempt) to run 17x7's with something like 215/50R17 or similar (205 maybe?) does anyone have any clues what sort of offset i would want to be running? As far as i know the car is the original ride height and i have not plans (as yet) to lower it.
