at present I am looking into buying an s13. I am selling the 1600's and am just gunna save up to get a silvia. - Don't fret! I shall return to a 510, but right now I am more in the market for sumthing a little more reliable and "fresh". What I am chasing in particular is help with :-
Things to look out for when purchasing / looking - ie common faults / troubles
A lot of people may say I am pushing it with around 10k to spend, but I am looking for a manual turbo - CA or SR not worried. Obviously the SR is preferred - I can get a turbo man for under that price here in Qld - but they are obviously private sales. In terms of things - which way would I be better off going do you think if I find a good car - a non-turbo manual or a turbo auto ? For example which will cost less to convert ? I would be thinking the turbo auto ?
Are there any websites etc that may contain a rundown on what to look for or pay clo!
se attention to when checking out a car. And or provide me with some information as to the differences with the Silvia K's and Q's etc ? Also does anyone know of any for sale in Qld - or know of a good importer? I am sort of looking for a few mods maybe like - exhaust, suspension, stereo etc ?
