Lochie, A few ppl have had trouble with Optimax which is 98 octane and the preferred ULP for 1600's with CR about 9.5:1 but others even with rubber filler pipes haven't so generally you wont have trouble with any unleaded fuel. This reported problem is not PULP wide it only applies to Optimax.
