Anthony,   For 50 series on a 14" rim you would need to run 205 or even 215 to get your loaded radius anywhere near correct, but you then have clearance problems. With 14" 195/60 are sweet, there's good selection of tyres and priced right too. Look at Continental Sport Contacts (grooved slicks) or Firestone Hawks for the pick of them.
