Daniel, R160 has 60 mm spacing between bottom two bolts on rear cover. R180 has
80mm?, R200 90 mm Cheers Feral
Errol -----Original Message----- Hey guys I'm a little confused about what
size diff I have in my car. I thought is was an R160 LSD but I'm not so
sure now. Here's a description. 3.90 ratio with brass cones in the
carrier as well as sprung centre to apply pressure to the side gears and get
the brass cones to bight, hence the LSD action. Externally it uses the
circlip style half shafts, they have a bolt running down the guts of them in
the end that connects to the differential housing. Not the ones with
flanges on BOTH ends. So my question is am I right thinking its an R160
or is actually an R180. I'm not so sure after looking on the net at
datsun diffs so I thought I'd come and ask the "ones in the know". cheers Daniel Kroehn --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- |
