Kristian,
I had R30 front brakes this time last year and they suck. You could get some R31 discs and calipers and they will bolt onto your R30 struts.Unfortunately the R30 strut does'nt have compatible geometry with a 1600, so if you don't want your 510 to handle like a bank vault, avoid the R30 struts. The locating ring on the bottom is larger than a 1600 and moves around on the steering arm. This is bad for wheel alignment.
Another option I have seen recently is R31 discs and calipers on a 200B strut. The caliper needs spacers so it sits over the disc evenly. A better alternative to R30 or K-brakes, and does'nt affect front end geometry. I am not sure if the early or late 200B struts are used, maybe some else can tell us if there is even a difference between the two. I was shown this conversion by a rally driver in ACT named Dean. He had this conversion on his car for a while and seemed to know what he was talking about.
Good luck,
Damien.
