Okay here's deal. Any helpful hints or better alturnative upgrades would be greatly appreciated. Cost and time are major factors though.........
Proposed motor upgrade; L20b - Bluebird series 2 (black rocker cover). Is this the best of the L series? SSS1800 head - for better compression. Is there anything else I can do here with pistons valves etc? boring perhaps? 25-65 mild cam - is there a bigger better one I can get?- I've had real lumpy ones before but I then had idling problems. Something inbetween would be good. twin 45 webers, with rally manifold and extractors. I'm making the exhaust myself will a 2 & half inch be enough? Any suggestions with the muffler, I'm making that too. 240K flywheel 5 speed - not sure what would be best, any suggestions (240k, bluebird or stanza) whats best?
