Title: RE: flares an stuff...

Sounds like on of those crazy jap customs.

A guy i know works at a panle shop and a workmate has done similar stuff toa KE70 corolla.
Saab grille, large late model carmy (r something) bumpers, custom bonnet scoop, etc... It is weird looking, not the style to my tastes, but he gets full points for DIY and worksmanship.

Anyway, it would be interesting to see some pics of this 1600. Not that I gonna buy though.
No where to put it.

talking about fiberglass panels, flares etc.... i seen a datsun 1600 today, it has sigma flutes in the bonnet, one in each rear

the back where the lights go, has been made fairly flat, so u could easy put a choice of rear lights in.

door, has 4 commodore vb-vc flares ( i think the guy cut them from the guards), a mazda protege` front, magna rear bumper

bar ( the rounder later model, after the wedge shape model).
every thing has been moulded really good, all the hard work is 85 percent done. with a few slight cracks here and there, body is unpainted ,no interior (no seats)

the motor is supposed to be good, unsure of the size , but it has a CHROME ROCKER COVER WITH 1600 OHC on it.
and 2 deep dish wide rims on it.
engine is not running at the moment. he was going to finish it for a project , but ????just got sick of it or something.

    and a sun roof.
the guy said he wants $200 for it , no joke...... if any of yous are interested email me [EMAIL PROTECTED] and i will be able to get some digital pics emailed to you. he is in renmark , south australia, 250 km from adelaide.

the car looks pretty intesting, its rather unique...

      G'day all

I posted a question regarding fiberglass panels, mainly guards before
asking if anyone had any for sale or knew of any around. Unfortunately no
one did, but this is 6 months on and i thought i'd try again.

Does anyone have any fiberglass panels for sale, preferable in Perth, but
      will consider elsewhere.

      Thanks all

      Chris Simpson

      Chris,
I have some fibreglass panels in the shed and I live in Perth.
Front guards with nice flared design, gives an extra inch or two
of space for wider wheels, unpainted for $220 the set of two.
Rear flares (just the flared part, not the whole rear quarter panel)
each side comes in two parts, one bit attaches to the door the other
goes on the rear quarter panel for $120 the set.
The whole lot (front and rear together) you can have for $300 firm.
I'm not really that keen to sell so I'm not going to haggle over price, I've
got a couple of 1600 project cars that could use the bits. :)

      Regards,
      Rob
