Yes the cruise did go ahead. No one from Canberra let me know that they could make it. Several said they would have liked to, but had prior plans. So about 10 cars met at the Burger King and I convinced everyone to check out a track day that I thought was on at Oran Park rather than drive all the way to Goulburn. There were only supercarts running at Oran, so we then headed to Wakefield anyway. We got there at about noon and it was extremely windy and unpleasant. The cranky woman on the gate insisted that entry would be $25 each, so we watched for a little while from the gate before deciding it wasn't worth it and we headed home. Goulburn seems to get further and further away every time I drive there!!!! On the way back, a couple of us checked out Pete's VG30DET Bluebird, which is nearly finnished and will be at the Nationals. That is if he hasn't written it off by the time it's registered!!!!!
