If you spread it on a well founded paint finish it may last for a few years, but eventually paint cracks will appear. 15 degrees would be OK to spray in but 20 degrees is better. I've found that the cooler the temp, the less glossy the finish. ----- Original Message ----- From: Ben C To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, 3 September 2002 19:13 PM Subject: once again...another paint question ive started the painting of my car, just in 1k acrylic. ive got a digital temp gauge in the garage, it basically has been sitting on 15d C most days...what temp should i be doing the top coat in??? is 15d too low and should i put a heater in there?? also, just making sure, body filler has to go on bare metal right?? it cant go on top of primer?? cheers ben --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
