Richard/Terry, I too have been through the same drama, both our cars have different seats fitted and on both occasions Rego knocked me back on the rear mounts as they pass through the flor.
I had to make up reinforcement plates for both, which in turn means longer bolts, as you know they are spot welded to the seat mounting channels, so it turns out to be a nuisance more than anything. I had a lengthy discussion with the guys about original this and that, but they refused to acknowlege me, saying the seats were not original so put the plates on !!!!!
