Hi there. I was just wondering. When the classifieds was first started I thought it's purpose was ment so members could buy and sell goods privately. How come there is soooo many businesses using it as free advertising every week. I look at the classified for a place where I could go and maybee go find the parts I need a little cheeper than going to a business and at the same time give a little money to a fellow datter who might need it. If I can't find it from some one private I would then go hunt in the Trades/services part of the OZDAT home page. Am I the only one that thinks the classifieds as strayed from it's original purpose? It seems every week we are getting more and more companies are advertising stuff for sale in there. I know for one thing I would prefer to trade with other datters on this list than to give it to businesses. It wouldn't be sooo bad if the busineeses were reasonable with their pricing to ozdat members but some of the prices I have been quoted for some things are so ridiculus, I know I have bought whole running 1600's in the past for the same price I have been quoted for lets say a twin master cylinder for a 1600 wagon, and I was told it probably needed rebuilding any ways. (I was quoted $250.00 for one not long ago) Thanks guys. Rick White.
