Rob. Supposably the only difference between the Auto and the Manual is the transmission Tunnel is a little bigger in the Auto. The reason the SR's and Fj's don't fit in properly in a Manual shell is because the transmission tunnel (Factory) is a little small to fit the SR and FJ big gearboxes. All you need to do is gently massage the trans tunnel a little bigger where the gearbox rubs. All the best. Rick White.
