hey  mark, do u wanna warm the datsun up?  (e.g take  "my friend " and  "i" for a drive..)

" sure, but my brother  has the  datsun 1600 (my turboed stroker) at his shed just outa town, go there and  HE, will take u for a drive in it."

as they leave my house  to go to the shed,  my brother leaves the shed with some one else in their car to get the pressure cleaner  from my house so they  just miss each other.........


  a few minutes later my brother rocks up to the shed , " what the .....?" he see`s the headlights on the datsun........

 "er, i went to take it for a drive but its idling rough......"hmmmmmm.
can you take my friend here for spin in it?
sure said my brother,  .so he starts it up, idling rough still, gets out on the road , and goes to tromp it, pinging like crazy, backs off immediatley.....hmmmmmmm
whats wrong?

my brother returns back to the shed, then i rock up there 5 minutes later...

its running rough....start it up 5 seconds later it stalls.......

i then lifted up the bonnet and  said " what the heck?.....!!!!!"

there is oil absolutely  EVERYWHERE.... after a few expleteives more, i took it home , cleaned it down , and took it for a half decent run, got home same thing oil every where, cleaned it down again, started it up , held the throttle open high revs, and there it was, oil and heaps of rich BLUE SMOKE pouring out the rocker breather.
i`ve never had a hose or what ever on the breather, it was always perfectly dry there .

so take the head off, take the pistons  out ,  sure thing  the ring lands where broken on every piston and a few cracked rings.

so that  knob  took it for a drive  without my brother, i know that he has NEVER  owned  or driven a   hi-powered car., so  didnt even know how to drive it, he  would have thought, `hey this car had a turbo on it so i`ll hold it flat`...........

 so at the moment i am  extremely peeed  off, another  $300 or so to fix it up...
where will it end????
