Smithy, Did it have round tailights, one for the tailights, one for the brakes and one for the indicators?? If it did, it sounds like the 140Y I have seen in Wanneroo, very different car, deffiantly wasn't for sale though, it had a L14 in the engine bay, boosted brakes. Or is the one you seen something totally different aswell?
The bloke who had it was trying to sell a stanza dog box as a hollinger, which I went and looked at for Errol I think? he also had a 1600 rally shell and a 100A Cherry (another rare dat in Australia) now that was a very basic car, front wheel drive, dead flat floorpan from the firewall to the tailights. I really would of liked to buy both the100A Cherry, and the 140Y, but hea you can't win them all hea. The 140Y woulda made something different to do a few state round rallies and motorchannas in. Later.
