Listers, As a lot of you have efi engines in old
cars, you may be able to help me.
I have just put an ecotec V6 im my VH commodore. It
is running a VN computer with a programmable chip (VR base map at the moment),
any way, since the conversion, the tacho does not work (it is a factory VH
tacho). Originally the tacho ran off the coil, but now i believe that a pulse
from the computer is supposed to do this. Can any one help?
How does a coil make the tacho work in an older
car?
How does this happen in a computer pulse efi
?
