G'day, im in perth aswell   The rust itself is not a problem so long as it isnt structural or renders the car dangerous to passers by.  WHat they will want to be able to do is run their hands over the area and if they dont get cut by sharop metal, its cool.  Well at least this gives you something to go on.  There are rules, but the consistency in which they are enforced leaves alot to be desired   Sorry not sure on the conditions required for a conditional licence, but a mate of mine has a Subaru Leone 1984 registered as a competition car and only drives it to and from events and workshops.  Never had any problems.   If you need more details about it email me off the list   Chris S ----- Original Message ----- From: Adrian Kirk-Burnnand To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, March 11, 2003 4:32 PM Subject: Concessional Vehicle Licence Hi.   Hope someone can help with a few questions. It runs great and as far as I can tell would be pretty much road worthy.   A nice set of rally tyres now adorns it as I will be competing in gravel khanacross club events. I really don't want to have to tow it to each event and apparently I can get a Concessional Vehicle Licence for it that will allow me to drive to and from events and to and from any garage work.   I don't think my club is a 'vintage car club' and I think the car has to be 25yrs old (it's a 1979) and these are requirements to get this licence, but ignoring these has anyone got one of these licences and how strict are they giving them out in Perth?
