why 2 pre pumps? Better safe than sorry I assume.
what's the outlet on your tank?, 3/8 (10mm) is a good size (depends on Hp) we fitted my pre pump inside my tank and has a 3/8 outlet, the VL has 1/2 inlet, 5/16 outlet.

The surge tank came with fittings for 2 pre pumps (got it from a friend and was originally destined for an RX 7) and I got a second pump cheap so I thought why not it’s can’t hurt to have to much flow into the surge and I also wasn’t sure if the pierburg pump would supply enough to keep up with the VL pump and the demands of the FJ.
