It should just bolt directly in with no mods.
Tailshaft will be the same spline, but if you find the length is no good get
a tailshaft off a bluebird TRX.

Subject: Bluebird gearbox

Hi Guys I might have to remove the 4 speed from my bluebird as the front
seal is leaking I think anyway I was thinking while it was out I might find
myself a 5 speed to drop in to replace it. Just wandering does the Bluebird
5 speed just bolt in?? or will I need a 5speed bluey tail shaft? Or can I
go along the lines of stumpy skyline 5speed/SSS dog box(prefer not a dog
box)?
Any Ideas?
Cheers.
Ryan
