Bob, Castor or radius rod bushes as the Japanese call them are without doubt the highest wear item in a datto suspension and that's for front & rear. These things self destruct prematurely with most mods from lowering, changing brakes etc especially front to rear calliper swaps ala 200B etc on 1600's. I haven't found the answer yet other than checking them regularly, like just about each oil change or major service point. Symptoms of them being stuffed are very similar to bump steer and it's more pronounced under braking. To check them apply fore and aft pressure on the tyre in the straight ahead position at 3 & 9 o'clock and look for movement in the castor rod on the rod side of the bush - common mistake even among experts is to look at the outer bush on a Datto but it will never move as it's got a steel sleeve up it's insides. The other end of the castor rod attaches to the top of the lower control arm.

The castor rod is the one that comes back from near the ball joint to somewhere arround the chassis rail (if I recall) right?
