Its also exactly the same as a grill I have in my collection of three
perfect 1600 grills. All are different in design.
One is from a 72 Aussi built 1600 that is identical in design to my
original '71, Japanese built 1600SSS grill, both are different to this
design.
I think a SSS grill is the same design as any other of the same year with
the SSS badge screwed onto it. A slightly different paint treatment (more
blacked out bars) is the only discernable difference I can detect.
I agree with Errol, the grill on Ebay is identical to a stock '70 grill
from the Japanese built 1600's.

Goodness me its a bit like the 1970 SSS one I have. That is also brand new
and bright, but doesn't have the box : )
