I think normal gearbox oil is 80w90. Some older boxes use SAE30. I have used the Nulon additive in a gearbox before but that was in my old racecar. I don`t know if it was any benefit or not but it didn`t hurt. With worn `boxes the 50/50 mix workes well but i believe a product called "Redline" or something like that is the best around.
I have used the Nulon E30 and stand buy it because i used it in my race engine and one time we had 1/4 mile drags event and the oil pickup cracked and the oil pressure went up and down (sucking air), buy the time i noticed it i was at the other end of the strip. I took it home and pulled the motor and all the bearings/journals still looked in perfect condition. Kris.
