I would change mechanics pretty quickly. Thats only a factory throttle
stop, not an idle adjuster.

Subject: CA20 Probs

Hey All,

Not really a performance motor, but here we go. My little sister has
been having
endless problems with a Pintara she owns, it is the one with the twin
spark
CA20 pussbox in it, and has an auto trans. Over a period of time the
idle speed
keeps dropping, and every time she takes it to the mechanic they adjust
it at
the throttle. It is to the point where the nut has been moved about 1cm
over
the last year and a half, the motor should be revving its tits off now.
Any
other suggestions? The TPS has been replaced, they recon they have
checked the
throttle body, the timing belt has been done etc etc.

Regards,
Bob
