I'm with Errol on Bilsteins. Same story. My rears are still going strong after being first used on an XU1 Torana then revalved for a Rally Datsun 1600. Now ready to install in another 1600.
I also know of people who swear by Koni reds. I have driven a 1600 track car with them fitted and I felt they were magic for circuit work as they were strong, adjustable and didnt go off (overheat) with heavy use. The only reason I didnt get them for my 1600 was Bilsteins were gas, and in my experience you cant beat gas on a rally car. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Errol Smith" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, February 17, 2005 8:26 AM Subject: RE: Shockers > Bilsteins are still the best performers and also longest life shocks for > my money. > I have a set of shock on my sunny coupe that have been used on a stanza > rally car for two seasons, then converted for road rates on a road > stanza.
