Mark,

Here is some of your answer, compliments of the Brindabella Motorsports club
with some of my comments.

Ratio sets for the "option" boxes (Nissan Motor sport boxes)

The F5C71B, same case as the 240K.

Steel syncros

Option 1

1 2.818
2 1.973
3 1.470
4 1.192
5 1.000
Rev 3.382

Option 2

1 2.348
2 1.601
3 1.296
4 1.138
5 1.000

Option 3

1 2.192
2 1.601
3 1.470
4 1.138
5 1:000

Rally

1 3.321
2 2.270
3 1.601
4 1.240
5 1.000

The above are rare 1:1 5th gear close ratio clusters. They were always
every expensive. These days unobtainable and if found extremely expensive
for well worn (motorsport use) boxes. Great ratios for motor sport use, if
you can find them.

The K and Z boxes are

K box, or Zed WR, Brass syncro

1 3.321
2 2.077
3 1.308
4 1.000
5 0.864

CR Zed box, steel syncro

1 2.906
2 1.902
3 1.308
4 1.000
5 0.864

The F5C71A, otherwise known as the Sports 2000 box, in the short tail, and
the early zed box in the long tail. They have a flange drive at the rear
and need a tailshaft with a slip joint in it built to suit.

These boxes can be used in 1600's in historical trim.

These are a steel syncro box

Standard
1 2.937
2 1.858
3 1.311
4 1.000
5 0.852

Option 1

1 2.678
2 1.704
3 1.262
4 1.000
5 0.852

Option 2

1 1.858
2 1.388
3 1.217
4 1.000
5 0.852

I remember Hollinger Engineering made a close ratio 1st, 2nd, 3rd cluster
for the 240K case.
Cant tell you how to track these down.
