Hello all, just want to inform you that there is a PR I've just added (https://github.com/memcached/memcached/pull/83) which prepends every line in the log with a high resolution timestamp. It needs the binary ts which is provided in the debian/ubuntu package "moreutils" (see https://packages.debian.org/wheezy/moreutils).
If it's not installed, nothing will change. You need to restart memcached, obviously, in order to reopen the log files. Looking forward to getting some feedback!
