Sorry, missed this earlier.

https://github.com/memcached/mc-crusher is the benchmark utility I use to
validate releases. There's a complete README but it might be a little
confusing to get going.

There're a number of examples in the conf/ directory. Let me know if any
concept is confusing and I can explain further. With it I can easily
saturate memcached on a 48+ core machine, pulling 50m keys/sec. I use an
external sampler to measure latency during the tests.
