this shouldn't be removed since BSD's and others have malloc.h
but error to include stdlib.h instead.

I've probably taken out and changed more than I need to and I apologise if I've completely missed off how to go about submitting any form of patches It needs tidying up a bit and I'm more than happy to do that if you think If there's anything else I can do to help you at all, please let me know.
