I have an email from you on 8/23 in which you said, “MAGIC BYTE  
0xf  (for both requests and responses)”.

	I'm agreeing with you that it's wrong.  I just need to change one  
of the values.

	I've committed updates to my clients and servers with the following  
values:

REQ_MAGIC 0x0f
RES_MAGIC 0xf0

	I cross tested them all and everybody's happy with the new values.
