Let's say I have 10 machines running RedHat Enterprise 64-bit, each with 32GB of RAM. What's the best partitioning strategy to run Memcached? Is it better to run 10 instances of memcached on each server, each using 30GB or RAM? Or is it better to run 15 instances of memcached on each server, each using 2GB of RAM.. that is, total of 150 instances of memcached on 10 different servers?
Best, Peter
