Wondering if anyone has run into this problem with memcached. I have a typical Ruby on Rails app that I want to start using memcached on. I added the memcache-client gem (locally installed in the app) and using the cache_fu (acts_as_cached) plugin.
I run memcached very verbosely so i can see the output: memcached -vv -p 10194 On first hit of the cache, I see the error below. I don't know why and I am having trouble tracking down what ERROR means, it seems the documentation is scarce. This is on a shared-host, FC5. I have this running successfully both locally (Mac OS X) and with another Ruby on Rails application running on a different shared-host FC 5 machine. Using memcached-1.2.4 with libevent-1.1.a Thanks, Scott <7 new client connection <7 GET / HTTP/1.0 >7 ERROR <7 X-Real-IP: 127.0.0.1 >7 ERROR <7 X-Forwarded-For: 24.5.28.42, 127.0.0.1 >7 ERROR <7 Host: www.mommysgaragesale.com >7 ERROR <7 Connection: close >7 ERROR <7 User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/523.10.3 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0.4 Safari/523.10 >7 ERROR <7 Referer: http://www.mommysgaragesale.com/auth/login >7 ERROR <7 Accept: text/xml,application/xml,application/xhtml+xml,text/html;q=0.9 ,text/plain;q=0.8,image/png,*/*;q=0.5 >7 ERROR <7 Accept-Language: en-us >7 ERROR <7 Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate >7 ERROR <7 Cookie: __utma=268222994.67933351.1200874622.1200874622.1200874622.1; __utmc=268222994; __utmz= 268222994.1200874622.1.1.utmccn=(direct)|utmcsr=(direct)|utmcmd=(none); _mgs_session_id=6e01c1c8c4032c5a356d3cbf21d48247; __utmb=268222994 >7 ERROR <7 Max-Forwards: 10 >7 ERROR <7 X-Forwarded-Host: www.mommysgaragesale.com >7 ERROR <7 X-Forwarded-Server: mommysgaragesale.com >7 ERROR <7 >7 ERROR
