Here my short Bio

Ahmad Alsadeh, PhD (Network Security)

Ahmad Alsadeh is assistant professor at the Electrical and Computer Engineering 
Department of Birzeit University. He was awarded the degree of Doctor of 
Engineering in Network Security from the Hasso Plattner Institute at the 
University of Potsdam in Germany in October 2013. Prior to that, he received 
his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on 
Tele-communication in 2002, and his master’s degree in Scientific Computing 
from Birzeit University in 2007.

Alsadeh’s main areas of research interest are network security, applied 
cryptography, computer security, and systems security. He published several 
papers regarding to cryptography, networks security, privacy and usability. 
With his colleagues, he won the first Place in International IPv6 Application 
Contest, Applications & Implementations Category for “Windows SEcure Neighbor 
Discovery (WinSEND)  Implementation” in 2011.

Currently, Alsadeh is mainly teaching IT security courses for Master and 
Bachelor students at Birzeit University. He taught Secure Software Development 
(Master), Cryptography and Network Security (Master), Data and Network Security 
(Bachelor), Computer Network Penetration and Security (Bachelor), and Network 
Security Protocols and Mechanisms (Bachelor).

Alsadeh is the officer of ISOC Palestine Chapter for the period from May 2015 
to May 2019. He is also the primary represent of ISOC Palestine Chapter at 
Asian, Australasian and Pacific Islands Regional At-Large Organization (APRALO) 
at Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). Alsadeh 
participated in worldwide events, such as RIPE NCC Meeting, the Middle East 
Network Operators Group (MENOG), IPv6 German Congress and IPv6 German Council 
that discus the latest Internet developments issues especially for IPv6. He 
attends the ICANN meetings and the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) 
meetings.

Subject: [menog] Call for MENOG-19 PC Volunteers

Dear Colleagues,

The MENOG Programme Committee (PC) is getting ready to start working on the 
programme for the MENOG19 Plenary.  MENOG-19 Meeting and Peering Forum will 
take place in Beirut, 0n 03-04 April 2019.

The PC attracts a strong team of industry experts with diverse regional and 
international experience, and we are looking for members of the community in 
the region to join us and help develop the plenary programme for MENOG 19.

What is expected from a PC member?
----------------------------------

-          To actively participate in developing the programme of the MENOG 
plenary.  This requires active participation in the PC activities 
(teleconferences, on-site meetings, reviews, etc.) and working on reaching 
consensus on decision points.
-          To actively seek content that is relevant and interesting to the 
MENOG community.  This includes reaching out to presenters of interesting 
talks, people involved in projects, research or other activities that will be 
of interest to the network operations community.
-          To stay aware of the topics that address the needs and interests of 
the MENOG community.  This requires good knowledge of relevant regional and/or 
international issues and assumes attendance of MENOG and other Internet related 
conferences in the region.
-          To actively publicize the meeting and its agenda to potential 
attendees, using both personal contacts and social networking.
