The process is a bit different now, without invitation letter.
Mobily (our host) submits the form along with the visa applicants
passport copy to MOFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) in Saudi Arabia.
After approval, MoFA will send the proper notification to the Saudi
Office in different countries which will depend on the applicants
location and Saudi office availability in different states.
A copy of the approval notification will be sent to you thru email in
order for you to proceed further. Its important that the exact location
of the applicant (I.e Ottawa-Canada, Dubai-UAE) be included in the
information sent to the host so that the visa is sent to the right embassy.
Basically what is needed in addition to the passport copy is: applicants
name with their actual locations and countries, profession
designation/title.

To obtain a travel visa for Saudi Arabia, attendees must do the
following:
Request a Letter of Invitation:

of your passport. Please also state your location (e.g. Brussels,
Belgium) and your job title and company in the email.
- The MENOG Coordination Team will then forward this information to the

- Once the request for an invitation letter is approved, you will
receive notification of this from the MENOG Coordination Team with
instructions on where you can pick up the invitation letter.
You can then take this invitation letter and apply for a travel visa at
your nearest Saudi Arabia consulate.
