Marko, I bought 2 N900's here in July and September: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Nokia-N900-3G-32GB-WIFI-GPS-WVGA-5MP-Carl-Zeiss-QWERTY-SmartPhone-/290783564186?
Using them daily - NO problems, not to be distinguished from my old N900 that failed after 3 years as it was beset with the "Macro-USB connection failure" problem. This time I am taking additional care and avoid the macro-usb connector as much as possible! Delivery was quick, neat and as promised! And even USD 20 cheaper now! I've tested following devices myself, but there also many other possibilities: - N900 * Works quite nicely though a bit slow at times * Search 2nd hand market as these are not sold anymore * Ready made images by nemo mobile community - N950/N9 * works nicely in my opinion * N9's are found around 200€ in 2nd hand * Ready made images by nemo mobile community. - ExoPC (tablet)/ Lenovo Ideapad (netbook) (x86) * Some functionalities missing, like phone, sensors etc. But main functionalites are there * Should work on many other x86 devices as well but haven't tested many. * Ready made images by nemo mobile community * Price range varies a lot depending on device. - x86 VM in VirtualBox * Similar to x86 devices above * Ready made images by nemo mobile community * Free ;) - Pandaboard (TI omap4) * Adaptation not up to date, but should be possible to get to working state quite easily * Price ~200€ - Snowball (STE U8500) * As mentioned there is adaptation and guide for this, though might need a bit of work especially in graphics parts * Also latest usersession things might need some minor bits added to the previous guide I made http://sagestechblog.blogspot.fi/2012/10/nemo-mobile-ui-on-snowball.html * A bit more expensive ~300€, also there is hw problem with USB that should be noted. - Cubox (Marvell Armada 510) * Quite nice hw but not the fastest ones, still functional and usable * http://sagestechblog.blogspot.fi/2012/10/nemo-mobile-on-cubox.html * Price under 150€ Best Regards, Marko
