Ah looks like you've got two copies of Ruby installed. You'd need to find the old version and remove it, I'm guessing.
Trouble with Mac OS X is that they tend to "fix" stuff so it works really well together, but then if you want to upgrade things, it becomes a little bit of an issue. Best to find a good set of instructions to upgrade that particular version of OS X's Ruby and follow them explicitly. Generally Hivelogic have good how-to's on upgrading OS X Ruby. They're the ones I use(d). Julian.
