Haha, not to turn this into a Zed love-fest, but the thing about Zed is, that regardless of how much he ranted he always tried to back up what he said. I still think that some of his snarkier commentaries were not substantive, but simply aspersions against people (like Kevin Clark seemed to be a nice guy when i met him, so i don't know what's going on there, and tbh, i don't care all that much one way or the other).
But being smart is not an excuse for being a dick. I tolerate people who are dicks who are also helpful. But if one is not being helpful and is being a dick, i'm not sure what the point/utility is.
