hi fellas. i hope this isn't an infringement of list policy to post a car here (list admin, please move this to the correct location if it is). i have a 1980 230T which i planned on restoring, but what with kids, work, wife, and a new small business; well, it just doesn't look like it is going to happen.... i'd rather not part it out, as it is a neat, unusual model for this area and i think it deserves to be fixed up, not stripped down and scattered all over the place!
its got 131k miles on the clock. its a 4 cyl, 4 speed with a/c. all original with the alloys. it has the european bumpers and one european headlight (the original owner must have cracked one of them and had to replace it with a US style one). the car had sat for 9 years in the basement of a barn, and it only took an oil change, gas flush, spark plug cleanup, and new battery and "vroooom" it started right up and ran; no smoking or noises whatsoever. the car is very straight (i see no wreck damage), glass is very good. interior is nice. body has rust spots on it in the usual places. has all 5 factory alloy wheels. color is a yellow beige. i'm asking $500 or B/O for the car. i am located near Newark, DE. i have the title to the car here, also. i do have some digital pics of the car, and can take more and email them to anyone who is interested (just shoot me an email at [EMAIL PROTECTED] and i will forward the pictures to you)..... thanks guys. sincerely, todd [EMAIL PROTECTED]
