The 350 SDL also uses the two circuit hydraulic pump (power steering) in models which use hydraulic blocking of the differential. The two circuit pump is easy to identify: it has a high pressure pump and a low pressure pump built together.
MB has kits- seal kits- available. There may a leaking seal. Be very very careful if you decide to dismantle this pump. It is a vane pump and the vanes must remain in place. Have several rubber bands- to place over the vanes to keep them in place.
The pump is of very basic design, so someone who rebuilds hydraulic pumps can do the work for you. You must however
