If your battery voltage were low enough to not let the glow plugs reach
operating temperature then they would continue to draw current at a higher

resistance.

This is the 2nd time in a few days when the wife went out to start her SDL
and it wouldnt. Battery was low enough not to turn over very fast. 1st time put jumper pack on it and it fired up. This time, but charger on
it and it cranked fine but didnt want to start, acted like only 1 or 2 glow
plugs were working.  Mean time, jury rigging wire for the fuse glows red hot
while cranking.  I dont think the glow plugs and battery draining are
related, I dont think, anyways.  Maybe I should just pull the manifold and
replace all the glow plugs.
