On the 602 engine, I have heard that one can count flashes or blips on a
multimeter to get at the codes being thrown by the motor. I bought a
multimeter today, and am searching the archives and mercedeshop.com forum for
information on how to use a multimeter to read the codes.

On the service CD's, I have the procedure using the MB special tool, which I
don't have. Has anyone used anything (like a multimeter, for example) to count
codes on a 602?

TIA

You are absolutely right. The CURRENT contracts were signed by Bush. The big
smear campaign about no bid contracts for Haliburton was during the life of the
original contract signed by Clinton.

Just like the collapse of Enron happened during the Bush administration. BUT,
when were the illegal acts taking place? And how on earth would the president
know what some company was doing so he could be personally responsible for the
collapse? Yet, who was blamed for the economic loss?

The contracts were renewed by Bush at their expiration. Who were the other
contractors who wanted the contract? If there was a buddy deal going, why
didn't they go public with it? Couldn't they find a newspaper that had room? Or
was all the space taken by stories about flushing the Koran down the toilet?

I'll take the blame for making an error. But let's talk about errors that
were actually made by the person being blamed. AND, let's make sure they are
actually errors, not just differences of opinion.

I'll bet we could get an argument going about which class of MB is the
prettiest, fastest, most reliable, or any other "best".

  Ken
owner of the prettiest, fastest, most reliable MB, an S class of course. ;-)

Uhm...actually, the current no-bid contracts with Halliburton were
carried out in 2003. I don't think Clinton was still in office, then.
    ;) (See http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/06/01/cheney.halliburton/)

It amazes me that Republicans still haven't seen a problem they can't
find a way to blame on Clinton, even after he's been out of office for
over five years. I thought they were supposed to be the ones who were
against shifting blame and the "culture of victimhood."
