Depends on how near the engines are to overhaul time. Priced an
aircraft mechanic lately?  And we thought Benz dealers got way too
much per hour. My guess is that these are govt engines that reached
their life expect ency (at least for up in the wild blue yonder) and
couldn't "go up" again w/out some serious bucks put into them.

But ... a BD-5 does sound like lots of fun! And speaking of John Denver, ...
