I am removing the a/c system from my 76 240D (W115). It didn't work when I got the car, but the knob was broken off the dash too. When I drained the freon, it was holding quite a bit. Could be something simple, maybe not. I have no idea and don't want to fix it AND it's big and in the way of other things I'm working on. I'm taking it out as intact as possible.
