Thanks, everyone for the advice on my 240D. Much appreciated. I will pass
along all the info and might have my brother try these things. I am just
flying home to MN tomorrow without my car. Not sure if I'll have bro. try to
work on it or just have it transported to my home and take it to a hopefully
reliable indy. But the cost - yes, I see your point, Kaleb.
Just a shame to let this car go. It's nothing special, aside from being
rust-free, but it suits me well (the simplicity - the manual windows &
trannie, etc.) Really wanted that car.
And Chuck, wish I did have time to run up to Phx area (and wish I did have a
car to do it in.)
Thanks again, all for the input. As I figure out what to do in the coming
weeks, I'll be asking for more.
