I know nothing about relays, but I hear they're great things. My intention would be to disconnect the circuit from the battery each time the car is turned off. Then reconnect it to start the engine. As it stands, I'm having to pop the hood each time and (dis/re)connect the battery I want to start / stop the engine. Pain in the ass. Luckily the wife is usually with me, so I get her to run up front and get dirty. ;)
