Oh man, don't even get me started on HD... I went there Friday to get 2 sheets of OSB that are going to become a hovercraft... I found the OSB quickly, the price was reasonable, then it took me FIFTEEN *&^ING MINUTES to get some idiot to take my money. All they had were self checkout lines. Normally I don't mind but its difficult to get through a self check with 4'x8' sheets of OSB... So I went to the contractors desk which had a real person for checkout. Except the people in front of me were apparently getting some special deal and because of that the idiot working the checkout couldn't acutally do anything... There were between 5 and 10 HD employees standing around watching all this chatting pleasantly to each other and several times calling on the intercom for "all reserve cashiers" to come to the front which didn't accomplish anything... Eventually one of the brighter mouth breathers opened a real checkout and I got through. Right behind me was a guy with 6 2x4s, they closed the gate in his face and told him to go to self check. He told them they could take the 2x4s and stuff 'em up their asses.
I wrote that all up and sent it off to HD and they're sending me a $20 gift card... Whoop dee dang doo. The downside of course is I have to actually go back to HD to spend it.
